Best for baby guinea pigs and rabbits lacking nourishment and for sick pets to aid in recovery
Each jar contains about the following doses:
PURE Vitamin C: about 100 servings (1/2 of included scoop)
PURE Vitamin C plus Strawberry: about 50 servings (1 level scoop)
Each dose contains approximately 400-750mg of Vitamin C. Guinea Pigs simply pee out and unused vitamin C.
Should not be used on a regular basis, as your pets will get adequate vitamin c from their veggies and pellets. This is aimed for baby guinea pigs who tend to be malnourished as well as for sick pets, as vitamin C can aid in the recovery process.
BECAUSE OF THE VERY HIGH AMOUNT OF VITAMIN C PER SERVING, THIS SHOULD NOT BE GIVEN DAILY. IT IS BEST FOR BABY GUINEA PIGS AND RABBITS LACKING NOURISHMENT, AS WELL AS FOR SICK PETS AS VITAMIN C CAN AID IN RECOVERY. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO US TO STRESS THAT IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO OVERDOSE ON VITAMIN C, AS GUINEA PIGS SIMPLY PEE OUT ANY UNUSED VITAMIN C. HOWEVER, AT OUR CONCENTRATIONS, GIVING IT DAILY CAN CAUSE SOME DIGESTIVE UPSET AND DIARRHEA. THIS IS WHY IT SHOULD ONLY BE GIVEN AS DIRECTED.
Healthy Guinea Pigs get adequate daily vitamin C from their fresh veggies.
Store in a cool, dry place away from light.
